There is a lead assigned to one of the teams before the beginning of the match. Asian handicap, unlike to classic handicap, does not include a draw. If the match, which is including a handicap, is a draw, your stake will be returned. There are several kinds of Asian handicap and the most famous is the Zero Asian handicap called as zero (0) or DNB – draw no bet (in American sportsbooks called as pk-pick). It is distinguished between Simple Asian handicap as (-1) and Double Asian handicap as (- 0.25). By the Double Asian handicap is the handicap divided in two parts.
1. Asian handicap (-0.25):
a) handicap (0)
b) handicap (0.5)
2. Asian handicap (-0.75):
a) handicap (-0.5)
b) handicap (-1)
3. Asian handicap (1.25):
a) handicap (1)
b) handicap (1.5)
The bet is decomposed in two parts like this: Arsenal – Chelsea match. If you bet on the win of Arsenal with Asian handicap of (-0.25) and Arsenal draw, you will lose only half of your bet. According to the 1.a) example, half of your win will return. The second requirement is according to the example 1.b) not fulfilled and therefore is the second half of your bet lost.
If you bet on the win of Chelsea with Asian handicap of (+0.25) and the match is a draw, you will win only half of the win, because only the second requirement was fulfilled (+0.5). The bet is returned by the first requirement (0).
